Making Sense of Anxiety

So many children and youth are being diagnosed with anxiety disorders. In this course Dr. Neufeld will help participants to see the origins of anxiety as being rooted in the primary emotion of Alarm. He examines the neuroscience of the Alarm system and presents the main source of alarm for humans, that of facing separation. Once this dynamic is understood, he presents an array of interventions that will help children feel safe in an alarming world and diminish the symptoms of anxiety.
